Plasma Rotary Cannon uses the same principles as a minigun except it requires special plasma rounds. The plasma rounds can only be stopped by shield technology just like any conventional energy weapon. Due to its fast rate of fire ammunition must be well stocked in order to use this weapon for a long period. The more ammunition installed, the more lethal a PRC is. (A bonus for freighters and larger ships!)  The ammunition is sold in long belts, which can be joined together. Every fith round contains a tracer so that a clear line of fire can be

seen. Damage examples. Every five rounds is equivilant to 1000 points of damage (or an alpha IRE laser) which means 1000 rounds will deliver 200000 points of damage! Fighters cannot carry that many so freighters would benefit from this weapon more. The ammunition isn't cheap for those seeking large capacities. 5 rounds cost an average of  50cr. and the PRC itself costs 20500. Note. This weapon does not use the laser energy bar like other laser weapons. It uses ammunition instead!
